Code of Conduct

We follow the traditional Ashtanga method and agree to honour all eight limbs of the practice as the shared intention in this space.

The practice room is a place of contemplation and respect, we support each other’s focus and progress.

Students remain responsible for their own practice: please practice gently and intelligently, pause when needed, and seek appropriate professional medical or psychological help if you have injuries or mental health challenges.

Personal information shared in the context of practice – about bodies, health, family, work or emotions – is treated with care and not discussed outside the room.

This should be a physically and emotionally safe space for everyone. If anything feels unsafe, uncomfortable or awkward, please raise this as soon as possible so we can address it together.

This code is a living document. We may adjust it over time as we learn from experience, from each other and from the tradition.
